This month, our Center organized training for the specialists of the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia under the program of initial mountain training.
Classes are conducted by specialists of the North Ossetian regional branch of the All-Russian public organization “Russian Union of Rescuers” on the basis of the training center “Tsey” in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania.
The lecture part highlights the specific features of working in the mountains, which will subsequently allow students to develop the necessary skills to adapt to the conditions of high mountains.
But, of course, the program is based on practical exercises: working with climbing and mountain rescue equipment, moving along various forms of mountainous terrain and organizing belay on it, as well as conducting search and rescue operations.
