From April 3 to April 10, in the North Caucasian Federal District, in the Adylsu gorge, the Shkhelda mountain base, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, training camps of canine crews of the search canine service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia were held. Representatives from many regions of Russia attended these gatherings.
As a student under the program “Specialist in the preparation of canine crews” and the exchange of experience, the deputy commander of the reconnaissance and canine detachment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, Lieutenant Barseghyan Hovnan Samvelovich participated in these training camps. He got acquainted with the procedure for testing canine crews, the structure of the canine service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the procedure for using, keeping and training service dogs for operations as intended.
Barseghyan O.S. received recommendations on new methods of preparing canine crews, participated in tests and exercises at these training camps. He also visited a number of units of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, where he got acquainted with the order of service.
