On December 7, representatives of the Center took part in a scientific conference on the theme: “Development of safety culture”, dedicated to the memory day of the devastating Spitak earthquake.
The event was organized by various international organizations, with purpose of raising the awareness of the population and civil defense agencies.
Modern approaches in the field of seismic hazard monitoring and management of multiple disaster risks, issues of public education and public awareness, concepts for the restoration of affected areas, as well as law regulation of emerging issues were discussed.
