Despite the end of the summer swimming season, a large flow of tourists, as well as holding mass events, require careful watch of lifeguards to ensure safety.
At the end of August, an amateur swimming tournament “RA Prime Minister’s Cup” was held with the participation of more than 130 people, and on September 4, the annual triathlon championship “Savages of Sevan” was held on Lake Sevan, in which 60 people took part. To ensure the safety of the competition, specialists from the water rescue team of Gegharkunik Marz, as well as the rescue equipment of the Russian-Armenian Center of Humanitarian Response, including boats, motorboats, and diving equipment were involved.
According to the organizers, all events were held at a high level of security, which once again shows the correctness of the work on the transfer, testing, and training in the use of rescue equipment.
