On June 9, the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center hosted an international scientific conference “Modern approaches to monitoring, preventing and assessing the consequences of earthquakes.”
The conference was attended by ICDO Secretary General Mariatou Yap, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko, delegations of the emergency departments of Russia, Armenia, China, Kyrgyzstan and the Balkan countries, as well as RACHR, which was presented by co-director Yuri Poleshchuk and head of the rescue units of RACHR Evgeny Gorelov.
Evgeny Gorelov made a presentation “The use of unmanned systems in earthquake conditions”.
Representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia joined the conference remotely at the CMC of the RACHR.
