The head of the MES of Russia held a working meeting with the head of the MES of Armenia

Within the framework of the Russian Investment Forum, the head of the MES of Russian Federation Vladimir Puchkov held a working meeting with the MES of the Republic of Armenia Davit Tonoyan, at which issues of further cooperation were discussed.

The head of the MES of Russia stressed that one of the important areas of cooperation between the emergency departments is the work on the creation and development of the Russian-Armenian center of humanitarian response.

“Our joint efforts to develop the Center will contribute to its successful functioning,” added Minister Vladimir Puchkov. During the bilateral meeting, a wide range of issues was discussed. In particular, it was about the assistance in the supply of rescue equipment and technology, the exchange of experience in the prevention and elimination of emergencies and training. Traditionally, citizens of Armenia are trained every year in the ACD MES of Russia and the ACFD MES of Russia. Also, Vladimir Puchkov reminded his Armenian colleagues of an invitation to the open final of the Championship in the functional power-up of fire fighters and rescuers, which will be held in Irkutsk in April next year. He also invited them to take part in the International Salon “Integrated Security – 2018”, which will allow them to exchange views on achievements in the field of science and innovations in relation to the rescue business.

The head of MES of Russia expressed confidence that this will give an opportunity for Armenian colleagues to get acquainted with the latest developments in the field of security and establish direct contacts with foreign partners.
Minister of Emergency Situations Minister Davit Tonoyan stressed in his turn that joint work of emergency departments is necessary and important.
