On May 2, training of cynologists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia began under the program “Training of canine crews for the search for victims and bodies in man-made rubble.” The program is a continuation of the training course for cynologists, which the instructors of the Stavropol regional branch of the All-Russian Public Organization “ROSSOYUZSPAS” conducted last fall at our Center.
The training will last a month and will cover many aspects of service dog training aimed at developing the behavioral responses necessary to effectively search for people in destroyed buildings and structures. The curriculum includes a large amount of lectures and intensive practical training.
