Every year on March 1, World Civil Defense Day is celebrated. This is a significant date for our Center, which is an affiliated member of the International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO) – an intergovernmental organization whose goal is to assist states in creating structures that provide protection and assistance to the population, as well as the protection of property and the environment in the face of natural and man-made disasters. These structures are commonly known as civil protection, civil defense, civil security and are all related to emergency management.
On this day, our Center was visited by students of the 8th grade of elementary school No. 147 after Robert Abajyan. The program prepared by us made a great impression on the guys. Children learned about the goals and capabilities of the Center, got acquainted with modern technical solutions used in the activities of the RACHR. Especially the young guests liked the climbing wall built by our specialists in 2022.
Such events are held by the Center on an ongoing basis and are aimed at popularizing the basics of life safety and rescue work.
