From February 21 to February 25, 2022, specialists of the Russian-Armenian Center օf Humanitarian Response conducted two field trainings in the city of Vanadzor with rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia under the programs “Operation and maintenance of emergency equipment” and “Technologies for conducting emergency rescue operations in case of road accidents”.
In order to conduct training on the territory of the rescue teams, mobile simulators and training equipment of the Center were used, which made it possible for all personnel to undergo training without interrupting their main tasks.
This event was highly appreciated by the delegation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, headed by Minister Andranik Piloyan, who visited the fire and rescue team during the training.
As the minister stated: “This format of conducting trainings has shown itself to be effective and should be expanded both in terms of the topics related to the conduct of rescue operations, and in terms of the geography of conducting in other search and rescue teams on the territory of the Republic of Armenia.”
