Readers of the Russian House library in Yerevan got the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in the field of civil protection and the basics of security and lifehood. The Russian-Armenian Center for Humanitarian Response donated the magazines “Fundamentals of Life Safety”, “Civil Protection” and “Fire Science”, as well as the weekly newspaper “Rescuer of the MES of Russia” to the library fund of the Russian House in Yerevan. Publications will be delivered to the library on a regular basis: a newspaper once a week, and magazines once a month.
In these publications, you can gain knowledge about seasonal hazards, fire safety, the work of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in general, the profession of mountain rescuers, safety in social networks, evacuation in emergency situations, as well as improve your knowledge of historical military events.
All publications were established by the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters.
The magazine “Fire Science” is the central publication of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, one of the oldest thematic publications (published since 1894). Throughout all these years, the magazine has not changed its course – the promotion of firefighting and fire safety as an important component of state security.
The magazine “Fundamentals of Life Safety” is a special information and methodological publication of the Russian MES for teachers.
The readership of the journal consists mainly of specialists associated with teaching the subject of principals of life safety in a regular school and the discipline of life safety in secondary and higher educational institutions of Russia, which are interested in the theory and practice of life safety, ensuring the safety of educational institutions.
The magazine “Civil Protection” is the central publication of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and performs the functions of the main branch media of scientific-practical and methodological orientation in the field of civil defense and protection of the population.
