The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia conducts days of activity on amateur radio ranges with special call signs for temporary use.
Radio amateurs from all over the world can take part in the event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the department. Participants of activity days need to score 30 points by making a certain number of radio sessions. During the event, amateur radio stations with call signs symbolizing the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia will be on the air. QSOs on the 1.8-28 MHz ranges are counted from radio stations from the European part of Russia (North-West Federal District, Central Federal District, Southern Federal District, North Caucasus Federal District, Volga Federal District) with the R30EMER radio station, from the Asian part of Russia (UFD, Siberian Federal District, Far East Federal District) with the R30MCHS radio station.
In the first week of the days of activity, about 6 thousand QSOs have already been made.
The agency will sum up the results of the days of activity on December 27, the professional holiday of Russian rescuers and the day of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian MES, – participants will receive anniversary cards-receipts (QSL cards) and diplomas of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
