The unfavorable meteorological situation in the north of the country has led to a dangerous fire situation in the region.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia asked for help in monitoring the fire situation in Lori Marz.
On December 24, the task force of the RACHR, together with the rescuers of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, went to the place of the fire, 15 km northeast of the village of Privolnoe, for a full reconnaissance with the help of UAVs.
During the day, the group monitored vast areas of hard-to-reach places in the region, which contributed to the quick arrival of rescuers to the fires and the immediate start of extinguishing.
On December 25, work on monitoring the fire hazard situation, as well as direct fire extinguishing, continued in the area of the city of Alaverdi.
