The convoy of the Russian-Armenian Center of Humanitarian Response, on the evening of April 9 successfully delivered humanitarian aid to the city of Tabriz. At the border, the convoy was met and escorted to its destination by employees of the International Red Crescent Society of the Republic of Iran.
The cargo included more than 4,000 tents, blankets and folding beds purchased at the expense of the Russian Federation and kept in the RACHR reserve.
We express our gratitude to our Iranian colleagues for meeting, escorting the cargo and accommodating the participants of the humanitarian operation.
Today, it is planned to complete the unloading of humanitarian aid, the technical inspection of vehicles and the preparation of vehicles for the return trip. The return of the column to Armenia is scheduled for the morning of April 11.
