Training courses on “Industrial Mountaineering” in the Southern Regional Search and Rescue Squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation

Once again, the rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia successfully completed training in one of the best training centers in Russia.

From March 10 to March 22, 10 rescuers of the Center for Special Purpose Rescue Operations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia underwent a course of additional professional training under the Industrial Alpinism program on the basis of the training center for rescuers of the Southern Regional Search and Rescue Squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. As part of the program, they learned the techniques of high-altitude transportation and rescue of victims using climbing equipment.

This is not the first implemented training program of the Russian-Armenian Center of Humanitarian Response and the Southern Regional Search and Rescue Squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, special courses led by experienced instructors of the Southern Regional Search and Rescue Squad are an excellent example of international cooperation.
