In March, in order to check the technical condition of the ASA-20 vehicle and the equipment of the mobile control center (hereinafter referred to as MCC), as well as to improve the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, the Russian-Armenian Center of Humanitarian Response conducted a march along the route Getargel – Martuni – Jill – Getargel, with the deployment of PPU in the Sevan region.
During the training, the issues of using field control post, communications equipment and UAVs were worked out. UAV flights have been practiced to survey the coastal zone of Lake Sevan. The transmission of information using cellular and satellite communications and VHF communications has been verified (holding a videoconferencing session and transmitting information from the UAV to the RACHR Central Control Center room).
In general, such trainings help to maintain high professionalism and equipment in good condition.
