On December 8, in Yerevan, the Russian delegation headed by Deputy Minister Nikolai Grechushkin took part in the meeting of the joint Board of the Russian-Armenian Center of Humanitarian Response. From the Armenian side, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia Arkady Balyan took part in it.
During the meeting, the results of the Center’s activities for the current year were summed up, tasks in the field of humanitarian response for 2019 were defined, and the concept for the development of the center until 2021 was approved.
N. Grechushkin presented the Armenian employees of the center, representatives of the rescue service of the republic and especially distinguished employees of the RACHR with the medal of the Russian MES “Participant in emergency humanitarian operations”, in turn, the Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, Arkady Balyan, also presented awards to representatives of the Russian delegation and RACHR staff and thanked for the fruitful cooperation.
